"If you are staying in the Camp Morton / Gimli area, this is the only place to stay! The accommodation is exactly as pictured and in addition, Melissa includes everything you could possibly need for your stay. She was very quick to respond to our questions and accommodated some changes without any additional charges. She is fantastic! We will be back!"
"Cabin is smaller than pictures make it out to be. We made it work as we had a group of 7 but a full group of 10 would be quite uncomfortable. Bedrooms were nice but its very hot in the cabin. Especially upstairs. There's a portable unit in the master bedroom upstairs but at times it would leak so we had to put a tray under the drain hose. Due to the cabin being so hot, our kids ended up sleeping in our room with the portable AC. The flooring upstairs needs to be replaced, it's broken with pieces missing. Grass needs to be mowed, there's some garbage like tires and metal in the bushes.
Letting renters know that the lake isn't deep once you climb down the ladder would have been nice. On our last day we saw some other campers swimming in the lake so we then decided we would see for ourselves. Without a heads up there's no way of knowing how deep it is. Kids had a blast swimming.
We walked north a bit and saw a trail. A nice couple let us take the trail down to the lake. They also gave us fresh garden veggies which was kind of them.
A 20 minute drive north to pine dock gave us a beach to swim at. Spent a few hours there.
Providing some better cookware like better frying pans and cookie sheets would be beneficial. The cabin could use a bit of a deep cleaning. Beside the stove specifically and the walls leading up the stairs.
I think if you stay here in the fall or winter, it would be beautiful. During the summer with no AC was just unbearable.
Overall, we had a good time."
"Beautiful location. The view from within the cabin and outside to the water's edge is amazing. The kitchen was well equipped. Spacious inside. The sauna was a wonderful perk. The deck with the lake view was perfect."
"The stay was spectacular. The only issue was that the A/C fan remained on the entire time. Even when the option to turn it off was selected, it continued running."
"This is a lovely spacious cottage well located on a quiet street just a short walk from the beach, store & cafe’. The cottage was very clean, with a well equipped kitchen and an impressive coffee/tea nook that has a variety of tea/coffee makers. My sister and I really enjoyed our stay."
